New addition :)

Lena Humpelstetter graced and enriched our lives, with her presence, on Wednesday 2 September, 2009 at 0:07 (AM) in the Salzburg Landeskrankenhaus (Salzburg Hospital), Austria.

The birth lasted 7 hours :O and was about one of the most life-changing experiences we, as humans, will ever encounter.

I can't begin to describe the feelings I had the moment she was put in my arms. I felt so complete, like I never felt before. Her eyes, so bold, heartbeat, so strong and she was and is entirely beautiful. The most beautiful thing ever!

I LOVE FOOTBALL!!!! UEFA Euro Cup 2008

It began in summer of 2007 when I heard that they were recruiting people to work in Austria at the Euro Cup 2008... so I applied, got an interview and was offered to join the team for the Protocol VIP Management team.

Today, was the first day 'Kick Off Event' for the Salzburg Team and I was really impressed with the way that everything was organised and how well everyone was treated! We had a 'meet and greet' session, which is exactly what it says. Then, had a great 1.5 hour presentation about the entire championships and the cities where are being held in Austria and Switzerland. Not forgetting, the food and of course BEEEEER!!!! :P

My Protocol team is the 'luckiest' team in the group of 530 people chosen from Salzburg. We are based at the Stadium (sooo great I get to have VIP seating for these matches with the current Champions :DD) and our Publics are all VIPs e.g. Heads of States - the King of Spain, Russia, Greece and Sweden, Franz Beckenbauer, etc.

Finished working at the UEFA Euro cup on this day, Russia vs. Greece (1-0) at the Salzburg Football Arena.

All in all, the experience was priceless and I have met so many new people from several different countries and cultures, which I hope I can keep in touch with. I was also able to practice my German skills and refresh my English skills (you will be surprised how easy you can forget the simplest of words).
